Today is International Walk to School Day! Cole Elementary school hosted an event to celebrate the day, designed to bring about a great awareness of the health and lifestyle-related benefits of children walking to school. I loved being part of this fun event and talking to all of the young ladies there that were curious about the Essence pageant. It was an honor to meet the Mayor of Cheyenne, Richard L. Kaysen and the Laramie Co. School Dist. #1 Superintendent Dr. Mark Stock. Many students, parents, community members, school administrators and elected officials participated in today's event. A total of 200 attended and 80 of those were students.
